Evangelist Allen-Nichols was born and raised in Chicago Illinois.  She is the granddaughter of the late Bishop Jesse Campbell, founder of the St. James COGIC, the niece of Pastor Willie James Campbell, and the daughter of Professor Ernest and Lorraine Allen. 

Evangelist Nichols received ministerial training and mentoring from her uncle, Pastor Campbell for twenty five years and was blessed to have the mantel of God’s anointing strategically placed into her spirit.  Since 2000, she has served as an Associate Evangelist at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park under the pastorate of Bishop William A. Ellis.   As an ordained evangelist in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, she has traveled throughout the United States and surrounding areas spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She has been the keynote speaker for various services including youth conventions, married couple seminars, women's retreats, singles seminars, and pastoral anniversary celebrations.  Despite her ministry schedule, she still finds time to give back to the community hosting annual career conferences, and .ministering at prisons and boot camps. 

Darlene received both a Bachelor’s and Master's degree from DePaul University, and also holds a Masters degree and a Doctorate of Divinity from the Grace Theological Seminary.

She currently works at the Northern Trust Bank as Vice President of Northern Trust Global Investments .  Darlene has been happily married to Eugene Nichols, Jr. since 1996.  Together, they have two sons; Eugene III, affectionately known as E.J, and Austin.
